We should not speculate … Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Concept mystery is finally revealed!
The concept will be a character called “Sideswipe” in the new Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen movie. General Motors says that the design is not only influenced by the original Corvette Stingray car, which was introduced in 1959, but also based on the Corvette legacy signals from other generations. “Sideswipe represents an exercise in exploring the Corvette,” said Ed Welburn, GM Vice President of Global Design. “Because of my creative team freedom to design an eye-holds barred concepts, helping them to push boundaries and look at projects from different perspectives.”
There is no information about the Corvette Stingray engine, because there is one. Currently, this retro Corvette Stingray is little more than a styling model. But of course it’s cool enough that with a little hope and a lot of money, I leave some of the future of GM.
